Privacy & Cookies Policy

How Aquarise collects, uses, and protects information when you visit aquarise.charity or get in touch.

Last updated: 4 August 2026

This policy explains what personal data Aquarise Pte Ltd ("Aquarise", "we", "us") collects through the website aquarise.charity, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We are a company registered in Singapore. If you have any questions, contact us at jeremy@aquarise.sg.

1. What we collect and why

Analytics (only with your consent). We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site — for example which pages are read, approximate location (country/city), and the type of device or browser used. These analytics cookies are switched off by default and only load if you select "Accept" on our cookie banner. Google Analytics does not store your full IP address, and we do not use it for advertising.

Enquiries you send us. When you submit a form on the site (for example to request a free analysis), we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email, organisation and message. These submissions are processed by our form provider, Web3Forms, and delivered to our inbox so we can reply to you.

Technical & security data. Our site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical information (such as IP address and request logs) to deliver the site securely and defend against abuse.

2. Cookies

We only set non-essential cookies — the Google Analytics cookies (_ga and related) — after you consent. We implement Google Consent Mode, so analytics storage stays denied until you accept. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can change your choice at any time:

3. Legal bases (GDPR)

For visitors in the EU / EEA / UK, we rely on: your consent for analytics cookies; our legitimate interest (and steps to enter into a contract) to respond to enquiries you send us; and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available. For visitors in Singapore, we handle personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

4. Sharing & international transfers

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that make the site work: Google (Analytics), Web3Forms (form delivery), and Cloudflare (hosting & security). These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards.

5. How long we keep it

Google Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months and is aggregated. Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain reasonable business records, after which they are deleted.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. EU/EEA/UK residents also have the right to lodge a complaint with their data-protection authority. To exercise any of these, email jeremy@aquarise.sg and we will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be reflected here on this page.
